I'm going to get myself a MIG welder. Don't want to spend more that £200 for the unit. Gas bottle will probably be extra. Any thoughts / recommendation? Been over 15 years since I had access to one.
I'm very skeptical about the gasless ones as I've never used one, but any advice welcome.
Anyone know the best place to blag a pub CO2 bottle? |

er.....
I've got an SIP gas/no gas welder. I've had it for probably 15 years, it still works but, it's never fed the wire properly.
The gasless does work, it's not perfect but it's handy if you have a quick bit of welding to do and you have no gas. - particularly handy if you don't use the welder from one year to the next.
I think the Clarke welders are pretty reasonable from what I've seen - Machine mart for them. |
