Clutch has decided it will not engage, goes into gear with the usual 'thonk', release the lever and.....nothing .
It has had a couple of little similar issues, delayed reaction to releasing the lever but sorted itself out.
It is covered by the usual dealer 3 month warranty but they are in Macclesfield and I'm near Bristol so I can see that being a bit of a faff .
What a bloody let down

Time to start doing the 'noob help' routine on the KTM forums, I think. That rather sounds like a gear selector issue, I reckon. Clutches tend to either work or not. Sounds like the gear is not going fully 'home' when you select it, and then popping out (technical term) when you release the clutch.

Just a thought, have you had a good look at the gear linkage to see if it's not got its full travel? If you've been adjusting everything to suit yourself you may just have maladjusted the gear linkage...

Have already signed up to the orange/white/black forum !
Fairly sure that it is a clutch issue as if I push the lever out there is some limited drive.
Did not get chance to speak to the dealer today, stupid long day, hoping that they will agree to a local repair.
The whole set up is similar to a Falco, not beyond my talents.
Not touched the linkages and nothing appears to have moved in the left foot area, have a day off work tomorrow so will be an some folks asses.
Dissapointed but not defeated

I spoke to the dealer today, they offered to collect the bike and repair it. I suggested repair at a local level which they agreed to ( this saves them the cost of a 400 mile round trip.)
They did reserve the right to collect and repair it themselves should any quote seem too expensive.
Would rather be out there riding it but pleased with the response so far

Bike now sorted, embarrassing owner mishap.
I swapped the clutch lever, didn't like the new one so swapped back again . what I didn't notice was a little sleeve/distance piece that the bolt passes through, the nut sits against this sleeve so it can't be over tightened.
The sleeve decided to dissappear into oblivion, I didn't notice, overtightened the nut, lever can't release properly...
One distraught owner thinking 'Fuck, don't touch anything else, it may Fuck the warranty'
Bike shop only charged me 30 quid for collecting the bike, I made a new sleeve out of some Ali tubing and Stella can shims.
I will chuck a tenner into the bike shop tea and biscuits fund tomorrow

Embarrassment aside, that must have been a relief!

Enormous relief that it was only user error !
How polite you are, I would have said 'twat' at the very least
Bike now in the shed with some new shiny bits on it so it will be faster and the Falco is coming together slowly.
Oh I love my toys !

Glad to see you've found what the fault is and that it wasn't unduly wallet-lightening.

The joys of a new and unfamiliar toy...
