Ok, so occasionally my bike will start with a bit of a clunk - actually quite a hard 'cracky' like clunk. Not all the time, it's maybe happened 3 or 4 times ... I'm toying with the idea of doing the sprag bearing as a result, wise decision maybe? _________________ You don't get a warm-up lap for life... |

Sounds like it is a sprag clutch on its way out.
The painful truth is we know it's not going to get better or fix itself.
This can become a drama when folk get a bit impatient and start beating the hell out of things when the stator decides it won't move off the taper....
