Hi all,

Not been active on here for a spell. Suffered a "stroke," not long back, on the road to recovery. No driving for a month, which is a killer, like chopping your bloody legs off

Suggest you all lay off lurpak, or convert to pretendy butter Blame it on a stressful situation with regard to previous employer not paying me

My left arm has recovered somewhat, but, lacks strength. Was going to strip my frame off and powder coat it in gold to match the rest So, that on the back-burner, as is alot of things...

Was a friggin HUGE scare by the way. Happened at night, I was out on the bike on the afternoon, which is a blessing. Ride safe everyone

Bloody hell Greg !

Hope the road to recovery is a relatively smooth path for you (as well as these things can be) and that this episode turns out to be the sort of warning that helps you avoid worse.

Hope you get back on your feet soon .... and on your wheels too.

Hi all,

Thanks for all your words of support Yes, my food life-style has definately changed. Have to try and exercise as well. But, not working for awhile, so the gym (Hate gym, it's boring!) is beckening. Being self-employed is hard place to be in financially as well.

But, onwards and upwards methinks. Once again, you lot are really top notch. This year I have promised myself to make a meeting actually put a hearty hand-shake to the names. Even though I live in the "Up North" area and you lot are in the middle bit and lower, where's my passport! Life is for living......

Keep you all up-dated on my progress men.

By the way, cheating death is reason enough to get one's self into Sam's Bar with one's virtual credit card...

Greg, I gave up being self employed because of the stress involved, great if you cant be arsed to get out of bed for another 20 mins (stop that woman ! )
Nightmare if 2 of your 4 jobs for the day dont turn up,then the motor factors deliver all the right parts but the wrong side ect
As others have said just try not to do stress, heed the warning, follow the medical advice
Hope ya mend soon

PS as a tax and NI payer I wondered why I was entitled to eff all sick pay ect
